Good stuff at a great price

This is a higher quality version of this (commercial) heatsink at a reasonable price. Works well for small TO-220 units, especially with some forced airflow. For best results use a very thin layer of high quality thermal paste.

Great heatsinks for 3D printers

These heatsinks work great with Nema 17 sized stepper motors. I used hot melt tape to attach the heatsinks to the motors. The fin spacing is ideal for 40mm fans. My only complaint is that some of the fins were bent when they arrived. It doesn't matter because you can always bend it back.

Works well. Use thermal pads.

I had an Ultimaker UM2 Ext. Also had problems with stepper motor skipping and overheating (printing a Polymaker Polymax PC in a heated work chamber). I used two heatsinks (one on top of the stepper motor and one on the bottom with a 40 x 10mm fan attached) for each of the stepper motors. They were secured with a stainless safety wire with thermal pads between the sinks and the stepper. The 40mm fan screws perfectly into the heatsink with M3 x 12 SHCS screws (maybe M3 x 14 could be used). No…
