3 stars because the radio does not unlock to allow the user to download and install Google Play apps. I had to spend hours to finally find out that this is the case and found on the internet that the unlock code that allows Google Play to install applications is *#*#275#*#* followed by unchecking the box, the immediately after entering the code appears on the touchpad of the phone. Now I can install Echolink and other apps on this device to do whatever I want.

This network radio is the best I've ever had. The build quality is amazing, the microphone feels good in the hand, it is very easy to assemble and connect. The customer service from Katherine Ma and the folks at Anysecu is top notch. There was no item in the New Jersey warehouse and they immediately told me they would ship it via DHL Express from Hong Kong to ensure it arrived on time. Pretty cool idea but remember that a mobile phone can do pretty much everything that one of these devices can do. The only benefit of this device is that it adds PTT and takes the strain off your cellphone so you don't have to drain your cellphone battery. I am a radio amateur and was able to use BlueDV, DVSwitch and Echolink without any problems. DVSwitch worked very well giving you access to DStar, DMR, P25, YSF and NXDN. On the advice of another reviewer I did not use the blue wire. DO NOT DO THAT. I had to follow my intuition here. The blue wire and red wire MUST be soldered together. I just grabbed some 12v usbc circuits, heat shrink tubing and this is the coolest mumla client (runs mumla from apk mirror sites).
