I love this little thing. Probably because it's a small cactus. There's very little in the middle that I don't know how emotional it is, but it looks cute on my desk and I get lots of compliments.

I love this humidifier but it smells like mold every time I try to use it. I even washed each piece with hot soapy water and let them air dry, but it still smells bad. I don't know what else to do.

While this item is cute and adorable, it doesn't last more than 4 hours, if that. If, like me, you need it for trips where the hotel air is so dry that you wake up with a stuffy throat, you'll have to fill it up and turn it back on in the middle of the night, which isn't the best way to get a good night's sleep. . This one is probably better for the office, not sleeping.

Updated after 2 months: Only purchase this product if you are willing to have a working product for just 1 month. This product doesn't work properly and tends to leave a huge mess on my desk even after making sure it's filled properly (not too high). I gave it an extra star because the price was low when I got it so don't expect much. I got this to help with some of my tropical plants. The first 2 weeks I used it, it spilled water all over. I've been using this little guy in my bedroom for the last few months (winter) and it definitely helps to increase the humidity. I usually have very dry skin that cracks and flakes no matter how much lotion I use, but so far I've needed/used lotion but no further cracking/peeling.
