I've been wearing collars for 2 years now. I bought 2 for each of my cats in red (8lbs) and purple (10lbs). These are house cats, but it's useful for guests to be able to tell them apart, as well as when accidentally planted with comings and goings. I keep them in the max position so they slip off easily (tear-off collars are best for cats outdoors), but they hold up well for normal walking and play.
