The output wires are not in a good place.

This order of solar panels had the output wires in a different location than the previous batch. This made editing in my project more difficult than before.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Damaged

Excellent product, suitable for generators and portable power supplies

Product was well protected upon delivery. I used two solar panels, up to this point there were no problems, everything worked perfectly. Although they are 54 x 54mm, with a little adjustment they work in a 53.5 x 53.5 cell. A good product

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some issues

Great product in the Generators & Portable Power Supplies category

I used them to fix some solar street lights that were no longer working due to age. I've doubled these new elements to allow for more charging, hopefully on less sunny days too. So far they are working great (about 2 months).

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Functionality

They will not work with a small 1.5v motor

They were for a high school project for my students. The description said they could work with a small motor. We couldn't get them to work with a 1.5 volt motor. We contacted the seller, they said that we need a converter to convert solar energy into electricity. The? Isn't that what a solar panel does?

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • I will add later

ENGINES NEED POWER, PEOPLE!

I bought these for the Raspberry Pi Offline Wiki and they're great if you know how electricity works. After seeing all the bad reviews for 1.5v motors I knew a lot of people would be discouraged. . So here's a little lesson about electricity, there are three main parts of electricity (ohm's law): voltage, current and resistance. Voltage is the 'push' of electricity and amperage is flow, so if you put a 1.5v motor on a 2v solar cell it WILL NOT WORK, not because of the product but because you…
