AP Exhaust Products XS2772 Muffler Review

Exactly what I was hoping for. Dump it, this muffler not only eliminated the hum, it's now quieter than it was on my 4-door, 15-inch Cummins bed and has no difference in performance.

Large, heavy and durable muffler. It lasted a few months and despite all the rain we've had it still shines like new. I like how loud my 7.3 diesel sounds, so I actually cut a piece of pipe and stuck it in to keep the exhaust from being too quiet (there are about 4 inches of open mufflers inside, and that's enough to take away the loud exhaust rumble). . . Without my modification the truck was very quiet but still had 4 inches open to the exhaust flow.

Purchased to crash in a straight line Powerstroke 6.7. Outside noise, especially the whine of the turbine idling, got on my nerves after a while, so I started looking for a muffler to fit.
