Review on AP Exhaust Products XS2772 Muffler by Johnny Spencer

Purchased to crash in a straight line Powerstroke 6.7. Outside noise, especially the whine of the turbine idling, got on my nerves after a while, so I started looking for a muffler to fit. I saw a video of this one on youtube and the sound seemed to be how I wanted it. Good quality for the money, well made with good welds and well packaged. I would say it reduces the turbo sound at idle by about half what I wanted. In-cabin audio has never been louder, even with a direct connection, so now it's even quieter. Unfortunately it has a hum above 70mph or around 1900-2000rpm. Since I drive freeways most of the time this is probably a deal killer for me and I might look at Aerojets. If you don't do much interstate driving and want to keep your 6.7 quieter, this is a great deal. Aerojet will be three times more expensive.
