The supplied gaskets failed after 250 miles. Allow the oil to mix with the coolant. I had to redo the entire project with the added benefit of flushing the engine to remove oil from the cooling system.

My 6.0 Power Stroke broke and I rebuilt it, only used this cooler to try out after all the big parts were bought and I have a high horsepower racing setup / tq have . It and my temp have ever been above 209 and I've been using it for a month and haven't had any problems. I would recommend a different 6.0 driver.

This oil cooler looks like a well made piece. It's a pretty good weight and it says 'Made in Germany' on the bottom. BE CAREFUL WITH IT! Lid gaskets should be heavier to ensure a better seal. SCREWS THROUGH BOTTOM COVER ARE TOO LONG! One of the screws hits the bottom of the top cover. This resulted in the cap breaking after about 1500 miles and the oil leaking BIG.
