🔍 APDTY 133830 Oil Pressure Sensor and Harness: Reliable Solution for Monitoring Oil Pressure Review

I'm glad this sensor comes with a new cable. I thought my sensor was defective and it turned out that the mice had chewed through the wires. I installed a new sensor and it works great after connecting the connector that came with it. Been there for a few months and works great.

Installed on my C5 Corvette (2000) - worked like a charm. They said you have to remove the intake manifold to get through the firewall, but with a 1 1/16" head, swivel extension and long handle, it can be done with minimal smoke tube removal. fingers but. ;)

This kit includes a new sensor, wiring harness and butt connector. This fits my '03 Suburban perfectly and works perfectly. I didn't need the pendant, but it's good to have just in case. The maximum oil pressure on my gauges used to be 80psi, but it now reads correctly around 35psi.

The price was good but it is nowhere near the quality of the original or stock part. Installed and the plastic came loose from the base when I plugged it back in. Spend a little more and save yourself the hassle of having to re-modify that already hard-to-find part. You can see how much thicker the base is on the spares stock model on the right.

Good set and cheaper price than local stores. Will fit a 2003 Silverado 5.3 Vortec, good luck getting it between the cab and the rear of the engine. Pry out the old one with a rotary socket wrench, being careful not to drop old leaves or branches into the new hole. A rowdy like me can do it, and I'm just as stupid as they are, so I'm sure you won't have a problem. My symptoms too: random stepper motor clicking sound on the gauge and fluctuations from full oil pressure. until there is no more…
