The plug may not be suitable for your vehicle.

Good replacement for the knock sensor, only criticism is the plug does NOT match the one being replaced which is advertised as straight when in fact it is not.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • For seniors

Knock Sensor Relocation Nissan Xterra 2004

I bought this to replace a broken wiring harness on my 2004 Nissan Xterra. I used this to connect the current wiring harness and move the sensor. The code is gone and has not been seen since. I installed it around May 2016.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Poor quality or arrived broken!

This item didn't work! Doesn't show 500-600k ohms. Item received and installed. But I still got code p0325. I removed it (not easy!) and checked the resistance. Has infinite resistance (should be 500-600 kOhm). Waste of money and effort! 😡

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was

Perfect for relocating the Xterra knock sensor!

These products helped me relocate the knock sensor in the Xterra 03. Replacing the factory knock sensor would have cost too much time and money. Now I can still get full use of it without throwing trouble codes or spending a fortune just to replace the knock sensor. Good packaging and timely delivery via Revain Prime.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • Retrofittable

A transfer of your deaf knock sensor is not possible!

I tried this to move the knock sensor on my 2003 Xterra and it didn't work. So if you plan to do something like this, think twice. Thanks to the dampened knock sensor, I still crank my transmission and grit my teeth whenever the Xterra gets stubborn. Who in their right mind would put a $10 part in a place that would cost you $1,100 to replace? Nissan, that's who.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • There are cons

The belt is NOT as advertised.

I checked the knock sensors myself with an oscilloscope, they work but the wiring harness they sell is advertised as suitable for the Nissan 300zx. It definitely does NOT match the plug. I have an aftermarket ECU and access to tools to make my own connectors so I can get by. However, I'm sure this is unacceptable to most people, which is why I'm giving it 1 star for false advertising. I was also disappointed that the manufacturer only chose one side of the connector (one of the two). the sensor

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Keep calm

I ordered this because my engine service was coming up with code P0325 soon. The new sensor has arrived. There was no new wiring harness. The plastic connector is made backwards. The plastic rib inside should be on the opposite side, but even if the connector is seated correctly, the wires still need to be swapped. The black and yellow wires are on the wrong side. The knock sensor I removed from my car was cracked and rusty. The original wiring harness was fine. After installing a new sensor…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
