    Transport damage detected

    First unpacking was a bit disappointing. There was a tight bend in the tube that would not let any gas or liquid through + another tight bend that I didn't think would work properly. I was able to fix this with a lighter and a little reshaping. It appears to have cooled again and assumed a rigid form with gentler curves. Let's see if this fixes my stalling after refueling / rough idle issues.

    Works great for exhaust and emissions

    I checked the engine code and went to the dealer to see how much it would cost to fix it. I was surprised when they announced it would be $700. I'm familiar with working on older cars, this is the newest I've had. (2014 Ford Fusion 2.0L Eco Boost). When I found a part much cheaper I decided to make it myself. The only tricky part in replacing this part is the bottom connector. The right tool can make things easier, but I was able to do this with two flat head screwdrivers. Now my check engine…

    The good part; a huge pain to install.

    The part was in perfect condition and ready to use. The one I received was made in China, not by Ford; Still, I didn't expect to get a Ford part. The connectors on this part are actually better than the original part in my opinion, they have tabs that you squeeze together rather than ones that you have to tighten with a screwdriver or pickaxe. As for the installation, it's frustrating, tricky, and you'll scrape a fair bit together by the end. As others have said 90% of your time on this job is…
