The original is rusted, cracked and fell apart. OEM shit. This replacement was perfect, was easy to replace and is a direct OEM replacement.

The seal was not the same as the factory seal and it leaked and I had to use the factory seal and that fixed the leak. Otherwise everything was fine, shot immediately. Buy one without a seal, then get a factory seal from the dealer.

The manifold is bolted on and works well. Tiny screws that hold a standard heat shield are inserted into the threaded holes in the headers. I added some washers to fix this. Another solution would be to make the screws a little shorter.

This exhaust manifold comes with a gasket due to stickiness. The flange faces on which the gasket rests on the exhaust ports are riddled with fine grooves that could otherwise cause exhaust gas leaks. It is made in China. A genuine Chevrolet exhaust manifold does not require a gasket and should be perfectly finished.
