Good water for filtering and water softening

We've never run out of reverse osmosis water since we installed this thing. If you have room for it, give the tiny tank to the Dutch. It's worth it.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Quality

Extra water on hand

I had a hard time getting the pin out for this one but I'm glad I did, it turned up in perfect condition, I have it in accordance with installed on my smaller tank.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Excellent investment! for water filtration and softening

If we had bought this sooner! We currently have an R/O system that dispenses 3 gallons of water per hour and it was very difficult to fill the jugs with water every hour to ensure we had enough water when we needed it. Now we've saved so much water and don't have to fill our pitchers every hour! One of our best investments!

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • Weak set

NEVER empties completely

When you are about to empty this tank the bladder will block the outlet leaving between a liter and a gallon of water inside. I know because I lifted the tank and it was heavy on one side. So I let all the air out, and when the bladder slept, the rest of the water poured out. This means there is no way it will ever wash off. I called the manufacturer and all they said was "this tank is not intended for use in any system other than our water filtration system". OK. To return.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Negative impression

Had to replace a 10 year old smaller tank.

We have had an APEC sink side reverse osmosis system for 10 years. The last tank (about 3 gallons?) lost pressure after about ten years. APEC said they typically last 7 or 8 years. We've always wanted more water and my previous unit was installed in the basement under the kitchen. There was enough space for this device and it's great to have more water. My wife loves a big tank. After about 6 years, I refilled the original tank with minerals and weighed it incorrectly when I installed the newโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sink and countertop filtration
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Does what it's supposed to

Installed a reverse osmosis water system for our ultrasonic humidifiers. Tired of cleaning furniture and counters near the blocks with fine white mineral powder (we pass 10-12 liters a day). I refilled our 4 units from 5 gallon jugs and needed a large RO/DI water tank. A tank of 20 liters helped me. I used 3/8" line to the auxiliary faucet and can fill the first 5 gallon jug in under 3 minutes; the second in 4.5 minutes. I use an Aquatec AQUATEC-ERP-1000 permeate pump to get full pressureโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Water filtration and softening
Cons
  • Expensive

Great looking tank that appears to be very well built!

I've had a tank not long ago but so far it's perfect. I used to use a keg with a float valve but the problem is that it's a lot harder to keep fresh. I often smelled dirty aquarium water after a short time. I use it for my hydroponic plants and just wanted something sterile to hold water where dust and other things can't get in. I was pleasantly surprised when the tank arrived. That's higher than expected. The photo showed a shorter tank and I really wanted a taller style like the iSpringโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Plumbing for kitchen and bathroom
Cons
  • High price
