APEC Water Systems Replacement Filter SETX2 Review

This set of replacement filters is perfect for my APEC water filtration system. Nice to find a set of filters at a reasonable price.

Excellent quality. I change the filter every 12 months as recommended. They do an excellent job of keeping the water clean and tasty.

This is the best value for money I could find. I recommend it. I only use it for ice in the fridge, for coffee and tea and for cooking, so it lasts longer than the manufacturer says. Good product

One week after installation TDS showed 7ppm. In the first days it was somehow higher. I think it was 20ppm but dropped to 7ppm before the filter was changed. Have a TDS on hand and ensure that the solids content of the raw water does not exceed 5% if you are also considering replacing the membrane.

They're skewed, there are some fairly basic misspellings, and the last two directions repeat the end of the penultimate in the last direction. this. I have just replaced the filters in my machine from a kit I bought a year ago and never opened. The taste of the water was ok before the change. After the replacement, the taste became slightly sour, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth. I flushed the system for at least 5 minutes. I just received these two sets so I quickly changed the filters again. Taste is good now. Just goes to show that you can just end up with a bad set of filters.
