Faulty Filter Failed to Function

According to my experience, this filtration system may not work right out of the box. The filter may fail to function properly and lead to dirty water.

Filter clog reduced to one drop per second after one month

Date of installation: 10/16/2020. It is now 11/17/2020 and the output is around one millionth. When I first installed this filter I was able to get a gallon in about 12 minutes. Now I'm lucky enough to see a gallon in 2 hours. It produces about 1.5 drops of water per second. I live in Queens, NY and the tap water isn't that bad. The water pressure at the outlet of the faucet is about 45psi.

Pros
  • Replacement under sink water filter
Cons
  • Not sure
