🎧 Apogee Studio 2M USB C Mini B Review

The lack of Apogee branding and a single product photo should be alarming enough. I guess I just had to find out for myself before I dropped $40 ($12 shipping from Apogee) from the Apogee website. But the connection that goes into the interface isn't a proprietary mini-USB connector (wish it could just be a plain connection), it's just a regular USB mini-B.

Same issue as other reviewers I've had to listen to - it's a very expensive USB-C to USB mini-B cable, but the problem is that these Apogee products do not use the standard USB mini-B connector, and the connector is too loose. I didn't even check to make sure it was actually plugged in, just plugged it in, unplugged it immediately, and put it back in my bag for return.

This cable completely spices up my Apogee One for Mac/OS (black and silver model)! I used to use the standard 2M to USB chord to connect the ONE to my 18 year old MacBook Pro i9 and the results were very poor. All of the integrity that I originally bought the ONE for is no longer present between the Maestro software, the hardware unit and my Mac.
