Pretty simple and easy to install. Valve placement is annoying, but that's not the part's fault. This is a Samsung issue. The dishwasher has tripped due to too much water in the dishwasher chamber. Replaced the valve with this one and no more problems. Our original part of our dishwasher broke and we had a leak for a long time that we didn't know about. Our almost 8 year old Samsung DMT800 dishwasher started with error code 4E last week and just shut off after a few minutes trying to start. Turning on the switch didn't help.
