Not what I was hoping for. I was hoping for a microfiber suede ceramic coating applicator. These applicators absorb too much liquid. Let's go back to the suede and block technique until someone makes the right applicator.

As a professional painter I use these sponges (all sizes) for ceramic coating. They hold a lot of product so you can cover large areas at once. Day and night difference of blocks and suede fabrics.

I've used them a lot for coating. Whether for exterior or interior ceramic coatings, these applicators do a great job. I like having different colors for each side, which helps to tell which side I used for the primer or the topper. This applicator also fits different edges, shapes and seems better than foam block applicators. The lining also appears to help reduce product waste.

These pads are lined on the inside with a rubber/plastic material to prevent product from absorbing a product's suds and to prevent more product from reaching the surface you are using. Less product in the foam means your product lasts longer and you don't use nearly as much. Keep the product in your project away from the foam applicators and use these pads. Amazing concealer applicator. As a professional detailer, this is the best applicator I have ever used. Don't listen to bad reviews from inexperienced dressers or DIYers. I like the product storage feature. I cut one open and it was clearly a sheet of plastic between the sponge and the microfiber. You can really tell it's working.
