Apple CarPlay switches from wireless charger to wired charger. Yes, it supports CarPlay. But that's not one-handed operation. We have to put the phone in the holder and with a click we land on the lightning cable connector. Then it will be a one-hand operation. The back of the holder is sharp. My car has thin leather. The holder pricked the skin, and several dimples appeared on the skin after a few hours of use. Be careful.

I just wanted to know what you would do with an iPhone mount if the bottom part falls off and no longer holds the phone. I have bought many of these for myself and my family and have found that they do not last very long. Please let me know if anything can be done about the bracket not sticking and the bottom of the iPhone holder falling off so it won't hold the phone anymore, thanks. This is a good docking station for your car. While it's designed to be operated with one hand, that's not entirely the dock's fault. The Lightning connector is so tightly attached to the phone that removing and installing the phone in the docking station requires a bit of extra effort. I would call it a 1.5 hand job. I bought iBolt in August 2016. It worked perfectly, there were no complaints for about a year until the upper lock broke off. I was able to put it back in place and it held the phone pretty well until a few months ago when it became very weak again. My phone was shaking so much I tried reattaching the latch with super glue but it didn't work. that does not work.
