APT Ultra High Polyethylene Tape Protection Review

Item as advertised. I used it to eliminate backlash with a redesigned angle fence that I use with a DeWalt DWE7941RS table saw at a job site. .I installed a few pieces on the corner bar and 4 pieces under the goniometer. The pieces placed underneath were intended to eliminate DeWalt's pull on the countertop's surface (non-slip but rough). The angle stop moves and slides like a real stand-alone table saw. Very good adhesive tape. Adhesion is good so the tape stays in place. That was my main concern when considering buying this tape. The thickness is adequate too, so I believe it should last quite a while on the material I've used it on. I've used it to take up sag in my table saw fence, to align the guides to my circular saw cross section gauge, and as guides for several drawers. I only bought 5 yards of 0.5" but will buy again if I need more. Impressed with this ribbon!

I received this to fit drawers of antique wooden furniture. With one-sided application, it was no better or worse than without. The dressers and drawers were a little worse. I'll test it with candle wax or paraffin wax on the drawers and tape on the dresser. Maybe the tape-to-tape has some friction. I imagine this tape would work well with metal. Adhesion is excellent. 3 stars overall because it was for an app that wasn't good, so it depends on where you use it.

for something that is "sticky tape" all the way back. My role is only 1/4-1/2 the range. While gluing I noticed that one edge looked like it wasn't sticking and I figured I just needed to apply a little more pressure but as I tried to press down and use more roller this edge got wider and wider and closer to the center of the roll was 1/2 the width of the tape. The change in function of the drawers in my old dresser is amazing. I attached pieces of tape to the drawer rails in the closet on both sides. I also attached short pieces along each vertical side of the drawer opening in the closet. I moved this piece back about 1/2 inch from the front of the cabinet.
