Excellent headlights, only in one respect could be improved.

Great flashlights for what they were designed, easy to use once you learn the button functions and the sidus link app. The only thing I would change is to increase the light emission angle to better mimic a regular incandescent bulb. Except for that great light! I'll try to get more of these soon

Smart lamp Apture B7c

Am very happy with it, works well, easy to use with the sidus app. The only downside is that it seems to run on the same frequency as Astera's titanium bulbs, because when I want to use them together, the bulb doesn't connect to the mains. When I turn off the Astera controller, the lightbulb is able to connect to the bluetooth with no problem. This is interesting because it's not a problem with Apture MC, which works very well with the same timing as Asteras.

I'm glad they're finally available, there are still some issues to solve

I've been looking forward to sending them out since Ted announced this over a year ago. We often shoot with practical elements in the frame and they seem (on paper) to be the perfect solution. I was glad to receive them but unfortunately I had some issues with them and had to have them replaced. Aputure's support was great and they agreed to replace it. I had trouble connecting it to the Sidus Link app, had trouble activating it and often got unexpected results. (for example, once when one of…

Flexible practice lighting

I love that I can adjust the color and intensity with a click of a button in the sidus link app. It plugs into a regular lightbulb socket, which also powers it. It really upgrades my lighting package with the speed and flexibility they offer.

Apture B7c smart lightbulb
