I use it in combination with blue binder in my wet dry binder. Works well, good mesh size for my application, about 500 gph on a 12" x 14" sheet under the blue media table. Sometimes I change it to a 50 or 100 micron buff, but it doesn't clog up that quickly.

Inexpensive and effective filter to combat algae in the pond. Roll makes nearly seven filters for the same price as a Savio skimmer filter. Works perfectly in a 500 gallon goldfish pond with a high flow waterfall. If the filters are clogged with algae after three days. no time-consuming cleaning necessary. Just throw them away.

After a piece sat for a week it finally started to lift 1 inch. It is so compacted upon arrival that it barely reaches 1/4 inch. I won't buy it again, I haven't used it but I've bought so many similar things but haven't found one that does what it says on the tin. In fact today I will use during the filter change, if it surprises me with good results I will update. But I will still not buy again and will not wait days or weeks for the material to be picked up.

Worked well as a water filter in our small fish pond. It was easy to cut with a pair of sturdy scissors and the size and quantity gave me enough for a few more future filter changes. I would recommend it as a replacement filter and in my humble opinion it's a wise purchase. (I combined it with a bi-weekly algae-reducing supplement and our water was nice and clean.)
