I have just received these bags and the thickness and quality seem good and they are suitable for a vacuum cleaner. However, the size of the bag is much smaller than what I usually buy. They were cheaper but they wouldn't last nearly as much. Look at the picture that shows the size difference

Miele FJM equivalent bags are pretty much identical to the well known branded bags but a lot cheaper! I used to buy my vacuum bags at my local Miele store and I think I'd pay $21.99 for 4 bags, so when I stumbled across these bags it was a no brainer! I just wish I knew about this sooner!

I love these bags more than any aftermarket bag I've used. We used three other aftermarket bags and they were all oversized but worked. They are about the same size as genuine Miele bags and fit and work great. They are also thicker so I think the filter is better as there was very little dirt on the secondary filter when the first bag was changed.

The vacuum bags look just like the Miele bags I always buy. However, I noticed that there is one set of filters for every ten packs, with the Miele brand requiring a filter change with every new box of four filters. They are definitely worth it. Not as pretty as OEM, but not essential for performance. I immediately went to the test, I had to vacuum diatomaceous earth (a very fine powdery fossil) as I ran out of vacuum cleaner bags at the store. When I checked the tank, everything was fine.
