They are little magic beads, when wet they stick together. My 6 year old loves it and makes little characters. We used small packets to wrap them up once we opened them.

We really had a lot of fun with this. Our 7 and 8 year olds are homeschooled so we love activities like this so they can experience that kind of fun. Excellent quality and excellent value for our money.

A fun project. I booked this as a 'quiet activity' for my daughter after we came home from the hospital with our newborn. However, the instructions say to let it dry for an hour! Actually it takes longer. So you have a little kid who builds project after project and then has to wait an hour to touch it again. If I had known that I would have ordered the one with an iron instead.
