Description of πŸ‘‡ Aquaboon Sediment Filtration Cartridges for Universal Use

πŸ’§[WASHABLE] Use a strong water spray, otherwise the pleated sediment cartridge 5 micron may seem impossible to be cleaned. Thus, white spots will start appearing on its surface. Are you still not happy with the resultative appearance? Apply the acid solution to make it look as a new one! Soak the whole house pleated filter 10 right inside the housing for the both to be cleaned. Ensure you got rid of the unsafe remains of oxalic acid and dry the cartridge out before putting it into the service. πŸ’§[SEDIMENT] The 10” x 2.5” sediment filter housings present just a physical barrier letting go through only particles larger than 5 micron. All the useful minerals will sure to remain in water. However, such bad contaminants like chemicals, heavy metals, microorganisms or dissolved particles also will be left. If to get rid of the suspended solids of a concrete size and prolong the life of your home equipment is your objective, 2-stages whole house sediment filtration system is your choice!. πŸ’§[TWO STAGES] The first filter always gets dirty much quicker than the following. Comparable with sediment depth filter the pleated one requires twice more debris to make water flow drop reasonably. Pleated water filter cartridge will keep the former from lowering water flow for a long time. So, the size of 2 sediment filter system allows you to meet your whole house demands while reducing capital equipment costs. πŸ’§[COMPATIBLE SYSTEMS] Ronaqua RA-125-10D-PP-PL, RA-2-125-10, Max Water 103215. πŸ’§[COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES] APEC Water Systems 1-SED10, FI-ES-SED10, Aquasana EQ-304, Culligan P5, Flow Max FM-5-975, Harmsco 801-5, 921-20, Hydronix SDC-25-1005, SPC-25-1005, CWD-HYDRONIX-SPC-25-1005, iSpring FP15, Kenmore 38480, Max-Flow FM-5-975, NuCalgon CAL 4712-87, Pentek ECP5-10, P5, PENTEK-P5, PENTEK-ECP5-10, Pentek 155014-43, P5, Ronaqua S-5, pp-10-5, Selecto Scientific 101-230, Tier1 P5-10, Watts WPC5-975, FPMB5-978, Watts Flow-Pro FLOW-PRO 5M-4PK.

Use Lots of Teflon Tape

As many others have pointed out, brass fittings do not have perfect NPT threads and will leak if you don't use enough Teflon tape. I have wrapped my brass male fittings with 6 layers of tape and have not had any leakage issues. At $27 for a two stage filter housing that comes with filters this is a great deal, you won't find a better deal. If you live in a city and have ultra-pure water, I would recommend buying carbon second-cup filters to reduce chemical smell and taste. I did that and now my

no problem with mine

I used PVC [CONICAL] pipe thread fittings. Use [ONLY] yellow gas tube [thicker] Teflon tape. Do not use pipe lubricant in addition to the tape. will run worse. I made that mistake on my new 60 gallon air compressor tank [ahh!]. 15 fittings. Wrap 3 times with tape. no leaks; Period. The PVC will shrink as it is screwed into the brass. there will be no metal on metal! Make sure the fitting does not hit the body before it is fully tightened. Trim off the excess at the end if so. That's where all…

Not recommended for kitchen or bathroom essentials

UPDATED OCTOBER 23, 2021 My initial rating was 5 stars and very positive. After more than a year of use, I am reconsidering my opinion. Today a fuselage started leaking. The leak was due to a crack in the head housing. The cause is unknown and irreparable. The system has a pressure regulator and surge tank, so high pressure or "knock" is unlikely. Both filter housings were removed and replaced with another brand of filter. The price was good and I liked how the filter works. Bowl attached to…

TOTAL MURBAGE suitable for kitchen and bathroom faucets

saw and ordered this after reading the reviews as I knew the faucets needed teflon tape to keep them from leaking, no big thing. but little did I know that no matter how much tape I used or how carefully I tightened the fittings, the leaks couldn't be stopped. so of course i assumed i got a defective product and i ordered a replacement. but this time I didn't risk it - 5 wraps of Teflon tape, PLUS a mild pipe thread sealant that I gave a full 24 hours to fully cure before even attempting to run
