The best alternative to expensive Berkey Fluorine Filters

After reading reviews of Berkey Fluorine Filters I decided to try them as they were recommended by others. They replace Berkey black filters and Berkey fluoride filters. They filter water pretty quickly, just like my new Berkey filters. I really like these filters and would highly recommend them as they don't require as much maintenance as Berkey filters.

I highly recommend this filter.

Bought two of these for my Berkey. Installed with no problems. Ran and threw two full tanks of water through her to cook for personal use. The filter cycle is fairly quick and complete. The water tasted great. Especially with additional fluoride filtration. Tastes much better than my previous ceramic filter or the old black filter from Berka. Definitely plan on buying again if they need to be replaced. Highly recommended.

bad party? for kitchen and bathroom accessories

I have bought 6 sets of these appliances over the years. They've always been my favourites. The last batch is bad. Something wrong. Agree with others about the chemical taste and smell. I will contact Aquacera and if I get a positive response I will change this review. I can't recommend it yet. Do not buy. Now I have to find another filter system. Update: I bought a replacement from another seller and they were fine. Between Revain's broken filters and the questionable quality of this latestā€¦

Gravity filters to remove chemicals and pathogens, including fluoride! Does not require electricity. Compatible with Berkey.

I use them with my old Royal Berkey stainless steel container --- they fit perfectly in the grooves. These ceramic filters are so much better than crappy black "cheap extruded" Berkey filters which over time become contaminated with E. coli and also fall apart at the bottom due to poor quality glue/construction and let unfiltered water through! Over time, Black Berkey filters can breed inside the E. coli, adding E. coli to the filtered water, which has happened to me (although they're good atā€¦

DO NOT BUY, they have changed!

I have used these filters for many years. This is my 3rd year of getting a replacement. Something is wrong with them. I have now tried 3 kits from Revain and they all have the same problem. Now, when using this filter, there is a very unpleasant aftertaste (almost chemical taste). I'm not sure if Amazon is mis-stocking the filters in the products and catching flavors from storage or if they've changed the formula, but at this point I can no longer use or recommend them.
