AquaCera CeraMetix Filter Replacement Filtration Review

I love that this filter will remove fluoride as well as many other common contaminants found in most tap water. Revain had the best price and this size was just right for my custom water filtration system.

We have been using one of these filters in our countertop water filter unit for over a year. It is definitely better than the previous water treatment methods we have used (benchtop still and reverse osmosis). There was one difference with this replacement filter compared to the original we bought - the new one was slower. We got great information by contacting the manufacturer and he helped us a lot! We can highly recommend this filter.

The filtration was slow for me at first but improved after the filter 'broken in'. Make sure you read the instructions. It also improved overtime when used regularly for drinking and cooking. Please note that several people use filtered water. If used by one person, it will be slower. I stopped buying plastic water bottles and after looking at several filter brands I settled on this one. There is a slight improvement but my water still tastes bad. I put a water filter in 2 jars to check the wing nuts for leaks and all is good. No thread waste. When I last ordered these filters I was really impressed. I accidentally ordered a 9" and they were sticking out at the top and this time I decided to go down a size, but it might have been too small. However, size shouldn't matter too much - I don't want my water to be so harsh and uncomfortable taste.

I bought these replacement filters. They look just like the ones that came out of my water dispenser by gravity. Although the filters in the photo have the same blue base as the originals, the ones I received had black bases and nuts. Although my original filters look exactly like the picture, the black ones are half the size, an inch and a half crossed instead of the 3" of the base blue filters, they only last half as long.
