These are great little bags for storing my activated charcoal. I use these in my Marineland 350 filter system and they hold the charcoal well with no leaks, but be sure to seal them with twine or whatever. Then rinse the charcoal under the tap and shake to ensure it's sealed well and matches your set.

This is a fairly thin mesh bag. I got mine for storing my bio media. For some reason the bags that came with my AquaClear filters (I have two) went bad after a few years. I have seen some people complain that they do not follow purigen (a very good remedy). Buy "The Bag" if you want something to store your purigen, but they will fit most mediums. I find the mesh size suitable for most applications and the price is quite reasonable. I haven't tried this with Purigen, but it seems fine as long as the resin beads don't start to fragment.
