does what it should. I gave it 5 stars because it really works but it should come with a filter when you buy it. Just a cash program from the manufacturer to get an extra $4 from us. Give me a break

I am very happy to have received this extra extension tube for my 50g clear filter. The filter used to work fine but with the extension it really sucks up dirt from the bottom of the tank. I will buy another one for my other tank and filter. Good product.

These filter tube extensions are essential when you have a deep tank like the 15 gallon Aqueon. At $4.99 each, they're expensive for a piece of molded plastic. I think like many other companies they make a lot of money here. For accessories to the products there.

the goods arrived on time. It was just as described. 1 star deducted because it arrived broken. I'll probably glue it crazy or something, but the new element shouldn't break. The color and quality of the plastic is also not the same as the original, see the photos I have provided. For what it is I found it overpriced and low quality. I'll do the job I think.

I consider it a necessary element for your new filter. The supplied hoses are too short and an extra one or two will get the air intake where it should be (about 3 or 4 inches above the substrate). I have 3 Aquaclear filters, they are to be installed and all 3 have extensions. You can just as easily buy it with the purchase of a filter, so shipping is free :-)

Thanks to the brilliant person who measured the dimensions of the package and put them in the description under the dimensions of the product, thanks for the exact same inlet I already have. I hoped it would. be long enough to run my 10 gallon vertical tank continuously during a 50% water change, but this is the same product that comes with a 20 gallon HOB filter and is actually only 5.5 inches long is. not 7.5.

I have an 8.5 gallon marine aquarium with an Aqueon (no Aquaclear filter). My filter hose is not sufficiently stretched. I was hesitant to order as I wasn't sure if it was a universal extension cord but for £5.00 I gave it a try. Great for a 10 gallon aqueon pump. Great fit and the snorkel now extends 2 inches above the sand to suck up debris. I also like that it's not all black, more of a translucent grey. My little girls checked it out and now a mate is in.

Does the job - attaches to the filter tube so it extends to the bottom of the tank. To be honest it seems that AquaClear should lengthen its filter hoses first, but that's a criticism of the filter itself, not this product. Agree with other reviews that this is an expensive solution considering it's just a hard plastic tube.
