Excellent coral growth light, lots of customizable features

I love this light and its customizability. I would suggest checking out an in-depth YouTube review of BRS. They give you performance measurements for your tank. One of them hangs over my 55 gallon tank and I plan on making it to the future. The light is not as bright as I thought it would be but it has had a powerful effect on my corals and they have grown a lot. Now I understand why this is the best selling lamp in 2019. I would recommend it to everyone.

Bait and Switch Maker

This deserves a negative review. Most of the reviews here are for the previous generation with WiFi and Cloud. The current generation only supports Bluetooth, so no WLAN or cloud. The only way to control this device is with a phone/tablet next to it, there are no other options. No cloud, no Wi-Fi, and since neither is available it cannot/couldn't keep track of the time, so you have to re-sync your phone every time you disconnect/turn off. The manufacturer's website is full of information and…

Recommend a flat tank for flexibility.

I love the flexibility and work well with the Nano. Not too powerful to burn coral, but powerful enough in a shallow tank to put just the right amount of power where I need it. There will likely be problems getting par in a deep tank. Anything over 14 inches deep will likely have a different look. They make 250 pairs with sq510 or 520, forgot the exact model. At 10" deep I get 150-180 from the center near the front of the glass. 6" deep, high flow with surface movement. container IM30 L EXT. So

LOVE LOVE LOVE this LED

Pros - Excellent brightness and spectral coverage. I suggest using the AB+ preset (can be found on various forums and facebook groups). Able to grow the most difficult of corals with the right size and spacing. The fan runs as needed, the puck is generally quiet. I answer Cons. The latest firmware updates have reduced the maximum brightness (before it was possible to significantly exceed 100). This was due to lens burn-in (LED is fine, only cover may warp). The lens can also warp during…
