I bought this to use in my pirate style tank and it looks great. It comes with a small tube and instructions. I only gave 4 stars because I had to go to the fish shop and buy more hoses as the hose that comes with it is just for attaching to a longer hose that connects to the motor (which I didn't have either) I'm new to whole aquarium, so I didn't realize you had to have all of those items for this to work.
