The Activated Coconut Shell Filter is designed to remove Volatile Organic compounds. It is exclusively for the AquaTru Countertop Water Filter Purification System. It is to be replaced every year or every 600 gallons. This activated carbon filter is designed to enhance the taste and prepare the water for consumption. The carbon VOC filter (Stage 4 Filter) will last one year or 600 gallons, whichever comes first. Only use AquaTru Genuine Replacement Filters in AquaTru Reverse Osmosis Water Purfier Systems.

Not Worth the Investment

After I put it to the test, I was not satisfied with the results. The replacement countertop did not purify my water as it should have. Additionally, the product falls under Industrial and Scientific category which may fool some customers into thinking that it is an advanced product.

Multiple failures: Replaced countertop water filters

Cannot rate individual filters as the SECOND mechanical base failed within a month. The AquaTru replaced the original after it failed less than a year later. then the replacement failed for a month. Third base is on the way.

Countertop reverse osmosis filtration. an idea for tenants who can not install.

RO is the best filtration you can get. Other filters with other media usually do not let through, for example fluorine or some other pollutants. And here you have a device that fits easily on any countertop, is economical and easy to use. We rent. We can't install our own reverse osmosis system under the sink. This is a great invention.
