Aqueon Internal Filter Cartridge Replacement Review

These filters are quite powerful for their size. They work well and are expensive. After a while I wash it off and keep using it.

Petsmart stopped selling pump filters shortly after purchasing them. They come quickly and work wonders. After cleaning the pump and installing a new filter, the water in the tank remains very clean and my tortoise is blunt to a happy camper.

Pretty good filter. I take them out and rinse them a few times instead of changing them every time. I've had a few of these cases where the charcoal comes out from the side, but I just grab a small object and slide the sponge where it should be. Would buy again.

While I don't hate these filter cartridges, I don't really like them either. Aqueon could do a much better job and make a more efficient filter. It seems to me that they don't capture as many particles as they could.

The best filters for small aquariums. I have always bought aqueon products and I really like this filter system. These filters will keep a 29 gallon aquarium containing 2 plecos, 5 convicts and 1 catfish crystal clear. Very easy to change and they last more than 30 days.

It's okay, but I wish the foam was thinner to catch the smallest particles. Coal rises to high levels, which is good. You can disassemble it by separating the back with a knife and refilling. Rating: A- to B+ I don't regret my purchase but prefer the Fluval u2. The u2 has weaker water pressure but the foam is smaller and there is more of it.
