aquarium test! in Starter Kits

One It's important to keep an eye on the pump nozzle keep. There are no gaskets inside or outside of the nozzle to screw into the pump, so I can extend the pump suction deeper for a cleaner reservoir, requiring the pump to stay close to the mains. Water 'til I seal it or pads to soak up water!🐡

Pros
  • Includes: Glass Aquarium, Flat LED Cover, QuietFlow Surge Protector, Filter Cartridge, Preset Immersion Heater, Premium Fish Food Sample, Water Conditioner Sample, Fishnet, Thermometer, and Installation Guide
Cons
  • A Few Little Things

Too much flow

I like this aquarium so far. The only thing I would change (and I didn't realize it when I ordered it) is the filter pressure. It blows all my sand off completely and pushes my plants to the bottom. With a tank of this size, there should have been a very powerful filter. I ordered a sponge filter and everything works smoothly

Pros
  • Everything you need to get started in one box
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Ok tanks! in starter kits

I bought this tank for my Axolotl. It's a lot more than I expected, but it looks decent. Two stars off because I wanted a bare bottom tank. Since all these little slips of paper are taped to the bottom, a bare bottom tank is impossible. There were also tons of glue everywhere. I've never seen so much glue residue. I called Aqueon to inquire about both of these issues. They were rude and said it was. So I bought a tile and cut it off to put on the bottom of the tank. Although I only have to…

Pros
  • The pre-installed heater keeps your tank at a constant 78 degrees which is suitable for most tropical fish
Cons
  • Very expensive

Nice armor set. Here are some tips on what you need

Good price. I bought 20 liters. I couldn't find what size filter pads to buy. Turns out you need media with this set. Go ahead and order something when you buy a kit. You'll get through them pretty quickly over the course of a couple of weeks while your tank is running. Shows off a lot of silicone but isn't distracting at all. The pump is quiet and efficient enough. I also use the Aqueon 15 for the power it produces and my two 5 1/2 inch orands are ammonia and non-ammonia makers. Get "safe" in…

Pros
  • Just add your favorite plants and decoration (sold separately)
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great aquarium but NEED a filtration system.

Love this aquarium. Great value for money as these aquariums sell for a lot more without a heater, accessories or lid! The flat hood makes them barely noticeable compared to raised hoods. This is a large size, I upgraded to this from a 10 gallon. The LED lights are very bright which is nice but it's not very natural lighting for the fish but I like it. I also love the hood because it covers the entire top! I have African dwarf frogs that need a fully closed lid so they can't accidentally pop…

Pros
  • Full size flat hood with bright cool white LED lighting to bring your aquatic environment to life
Cons
  • Has been damaged
