Very easy to install but I was too eager by tearing off the C-ring and twisting it into the hole. The company sent me a new lever even though I only needed a replacement ring c. So, in case you didn't know, there's a small, flat, C-shaped metal clip on each end. If you lift it up a bit you will find a hole to put your hand in. It looks like the gaskets etc that hold the gas in the shock are sealed from the factory. It was recommended to unclip one side and operate the hood.
