Pretty easy to install. About 5 minutes on each side. But then I couldn't close the hood of the truck. I checked online and this seems to be a common problem. It looks like the gaskets etc that hold the gas in the shock are sealed from the factory. It was recommended to unclip one side and operate the hood. As I did this I felt the seal come loose and after a few snips it really set the action off. I reconnected the other side, disconnected the side I had just detached, and again felt the seal come loose. I hooked up a second prop and I find the hood opens better than when it was new. You may want to work around the problem and just add one at a time to avoid disconnecting and reconnecting.
