Toolbox lifter: shock absorber, stand and hanger

Works perfectly, opens and closes with one hand. We installed one on each side of our heavy tool chest and they work great! Easy installation and great price!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • old

Problems with seller

Ordered as per description 12" unfolded, 7.5" folded. new supports. What I received were open-packaged 15" extended racks, which also came in a variety of sizes. Bad seller practice.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Functionality

Relatively easy installation

Relatively easy installation. I had an issue with the metal latch bending on me, but I may have been trying to push the part too hard, not a manufacturing defect. There is no way to say that with certainty.

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • Compatibility

The quality is so good they should cost more

I installed these gas springs on my truck trunk lid and was amazed when I opened the lid and it flew up. Very easy to install. It even includes new attachments. Good value for money. Ease of installation. 5 minute fix

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Incredible value; great parts for my hood!

The original struts that came with my 2008 Mustang hood lost pressure and could no longer hold the hood open securely. The manufacturer's only suggestion was to sell me another set for $85 since they didn't sell replacement stands. I found them and they were easy to install and worked great!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Every support has great power.

Worked well on my truck's tool box lid. I figured I would need a total of 4, 2 per lid. I ordered 2 for one side as a test before ordering the other 2. As it turned out, they are strong enough that it only took a new brace for each cover to work properly to match the old brace. So I saved by buying only 4 props; 2 did it too.

Easy to install, right size and solid

This was a replacement for a tired pair of posts on a van's external circuit access panel. I've never done this before, but it turned out to be easy. The mechanism for inserting existing bullets was simpler than the small pins on the old stands. The reinstallation instructions were not entirely clear - some of these were printed on the outside of the box, others were on the insert. But since I just replaced the existing ones it didn't affect me but it may affect you.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
