ARB 1060001 Hydraulic Recovery Locating Review

9/28/2021. Less than a year since purchase. The handle is made of plasticine. Broken. I called support last Friday. You never called back. Terrible.

Serious design flaw. On a test climb on a flat approach to the rock, the jack bent and smashed the door. I am now sending back this defective piece of junk which will now cost me to fix the dent in the door.

Turned up in the box with a bit of a leak so I figured it might be defective. I was working with the device and was able to get it to work, so I kept it. The device itself is amazing, very easy and safe to use, and it gets my jeep ready for a tire change in less than 2 minutes. Great product, let us know hydraulic fluid may leak during shipping.

This thing is amazing! I used to use a Hi-Lift jack and replaced it with this one. It was a big upgrade but worth the money. It's easy to use, now I can lift my jeep with my little finger and it's much safer than the hi-lift. The only downside is you can't use it as an auxiliary like you can with the Hi-Lift, but if you have a winch you don't have to worry. I can't recommend this more!

Super expensive but handsome Jack - very good for older people (me) BUT read the instructions carefully first, especially about the lowering. Store vertically. It takes a lot of effort to lower the last fractions of an inch to get it out of the car, and then it takes a lot of effort to finish lowering it. -- Follow the instructions in the manual. It comes with a sturdy carrying case with fabric handles - too fancy and bulky for outdoor vertical storage.

Bought by Jack about a month ago for a trip to the Rubicon. Because I don't have 40 inch tires. This jack came in very handy. We have used the well-known Farm Jack in the past. Almost deadly. Super light and compact, much safer than a stacker jack. Easy to store in the included padded storage bag on the back of the JLU. High price but catch it on sale and it's worth it.
