Almost protection from cats!: Dishes and service

We started using this oiler to keep cats away. We have purchased the same style 3 times after each time a rotten (kitten) baby has been 'helped' to the floor. It is much cleaner than the standard flat bottom and domed top oiler; The oil stays on the lid and does not smudge. Depending on the season, we move it from the cupboard to the fridge and between the chopsticks straight into the dishwasher. The bottom is deep enough to hold all of the melted butter without messing it up if we over-soften…

Odd internal mark which required sandpaper to remove

I ordered this for my Kerrygold Irish Oil which fits very well but after a while I noticed an odd mark on the inside of the larger piece. (See photo). At first I thought it was just a sticker and the sign is only visible when the glass is fogged up after taking it out of the fridge. Maybe because my house had low humidity in winter (I ordered in December) so I didn't notice the trail at first, but when spring came it was clearly visible every time I took the dishes out of the closet. Allows me to keep butter at room temperature permanently

I've had this dish for about 2 years now. I love it. A few years ago I was doing research to improve my diet and I read about the benefits of grass-fed oil with its 1 to 1 ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 oils. In my research I found this salted butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 30 days. I didn't know about it and assumed it was meant to be stored in the fridge. I've been keeping this dish on my counter for the last two years and love how easy it is to use the mild butter for stews…
