Negative strips fall from the bottom

Medium format vertical strips are open at both ends. Somehow I overlooked the fact that the strips are open at both ends, my negatives slide out at the bottom. This is probably a moot point as while my scanner trays for my Epson v850 can hold three 6x7 negatives, they can only hold two 6x7 negatives. But on my Hasselblad, Rolleis, Yashica and Kodak 6x6 cameras, the strips still slide out at the bottom.

Just what I need

It's great. For some reason Printfile has created some archive pages that really aren't suitable for making a contact sheet on standard 8x10 photo paper. This product is not one of them. They work great with minimal trimming along the long edge. If you don't use the top label area to mark your pages with notes, don't worry. Even if you use this space for notes, you're only losing a portion of that space on the 8x10 contact page. buy you. I have made.

Supposed to be 6 x 6 but 4 x 12 " Items will not fit

I have 4 x 12" templates that I thought would fit into 6" wide columns. nope When I received the package it was said to be 6 x 4.5 inches wide. nope These sleeves are barely 2 1/2 inches and none of my templates fit. Definitely misleading measurements! They are open at both ends! Whatever you put in the three ring binder will fall out at the bottom unless you run a piece of tape along the bottom. Why these three folders on rings if they don't have a sealed bottom? I am not sure if I can returnโ€ฆ

Good rigid films for TLR users

I shoot with a Mamiya c220 TLR and the way the film is loaded and taken causes the negatives to run across the film and not across (like it with a regular 35mm or range finder). These sheets allow me to quickly view my slides and negatives with the correct orientation when viewing negative folders. It also helps create properly aligned contact lists. The only downside is that scanning film from four negatives creates negatives that won't fit in a regular film scanner. It's not a big deal, butโ€ฆ

Wrong size for Epson V600

The brackets are fine but they didn't fit my Epson V600 flatbed scanner. Please check the size of the scanner film holder before ordering. Mine only fits 3 frames of 6x6 120 film (square format from a TLR camera). So I have to cut the 120 film into 4 strips of 3 frames each. These holders can hold 3 strips of 4 6x6 images each which means that when I crop film for scanning on my V600 I always end up with each strip too small for the holder and one strip is left over and a second holder isโ€ฆ

Highly durable sheets for TLR users

I shoot with a Mamiya c220 TLR and the way the film is loaded and taken causes the negatives to flow down the film rather than across it (as it would with a regular 35mm lens or rangefinder on the case would be). These sheets allow me to quickly view my slides and negatives with the correct orientation when viewing negative folders. It also helps create properly aligned contact lists. The only downside is that scanning film from four negatives creates negatives that won't fit in a regular filmโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Holds fifteen 6 x 4.5 cm frames, twelve 6 x 6 cm frames, or nine frames of 6 x 7 cm 120 film.
Cons
  • Some little things

Wrong size for Epson V600

The mounts are ok but not the right size for my Epson V600 flatbed scanner. Please check the size of the scanner film holder before ordering. Mine only fits 3 frames of 6x6 120 film (square format from a TLR camera). So I have to cut the 120 film into 4 strips of 3 frames each. These holders can hold 3 strips of 4 6x6 images each which means that when cropping film for scanning on my V600 each strip is always too small for the holder leaving one strip and requiring a second. Very inefficientโ€ฆ
