It's not an 'absorbent' sponge, but it does a decent job of cleaning plates, pans and pots, particularly cast iron and carbon steel, when you put it on me don't want to use soap. But the sponge contains soap and is great for cleaning other things like dishes. Very glad I found these

I am a potter and I use these silicone sponges to clean clay from bats and other surfaces. Most other materials are either too soft or degrade over time, allowing small pieces to end up in the reclaimed clay. They hold up and won't fall apart with frequent use. I can only imagine that they would make great kitchen cleaners, but I haven't tested that theory yet.

I happened to try them. I used the more expensive one. been a hallmark for quite some time and have deteriorated due to the ease of cleaning, the drying process and most importantly the lack of smell. They are great, cleaning is equal or better than the other brand and they are much more economical. A sponge lasts a very long time and you never smell or feel like you're washing with a "dirty rag".

I have tried silicone sponges in the past and generally found them a bit useless when working with products that are a little sticky or stuck to the plate/gut etc. similar to traditional cleaning wipes and do not suffer from these problems. The only downside I've found is that they're a bit prone to lacerations when cleaning knives if you're not careful. This is the only real flaw I've found in these sponges.

This silicone sponge was purchased to replace a similar product. It is very durable to scrub off stuck items stuck to dishes, pots and pans. After a month of using it three times a day, the sponge is still in very good condition and should last at least three to four months. The small open cells work well without trapping too much food while allowing for drainage after each use to prevent bad smells. Highly recommend this item and this kind of silicone cleaning sponge.

It's crazy, but I really like her. I was skeptical because the only similar product I've used in the past has always made me smile but also broke after a few weeks. I wanted to like these sponges but they didn't fully meet my sponge requirements. They don't actually absorb liquid or soap, it's more like a sponge that just picks up some liquid and sprays it all over the place. So you pour more dish soap, leaving more puddles of liquid on the countertop and more drips when wiping. Because of this, however, they don't get as fearful and mean as other sponges.
