I bought this for my 10 1/2 year old grandson who is about 5ft 2in and weighs 125lbs . He mostly wears size 14/16 in clothes and it suits him. He won't be in it for long and he certainly can't wear anything heavy underneath as it seems more stylish, but this season it will do the trick. It's well made and a great price!

It was exactly what I expected. It doesn't rain often here, so I ordered a large one to last a long time. This is a very light material, but it keeps the rain out. Only deducted one star because the hood doesn't have an elastic or drawstring so it doesn't want to stay out in the wind. Overall we're happy with the purchase, I'll just put some elastic in the hood.

These jackets are beautifully tailored and the jersey lining is super soft and comfortable. The pockets are also jersey lined (my son with eczema on his hands loves it!) We haven't worn them in the rain yet so can't comment on the waterproofing. We bought 10/12 for my 10 year old daughter - she is 4ft 9", 70lbs (long arms) and she is roomy but great - there is room to grow but not too big. Same goes for my 12 year old son who is 5ft 1in and 80lbs (long arms).
