The boots are described as being waterproof and the boots even have a tag indicating they are supposed to be waterproof. My daughter wore these boots to school and when she got home the boots were soaked and her feet were wet. I would not recommend anyone to buy these boots.

They fit my 5 year old son and he says his feet are very warm in them. I live in the south and it rarely snows, but every year I buy snowshoes for my kids so they can fully enjoy a day in the snow (if they have any).

I was glad to find these boots as the sole is all rubber and waterproof and also has good grip. It then turns into a black and pink waterproof nylon material. Great winter boots for kids at a great price! We just took our kids to Zion where it's pretty cold and took them to play in the snow. These boots kept my son's feet warm and completely waterproof even after he played in the snow for a few hours. He said they were very comfortable and had enough traction to keep him from slipping on packed snow. They also seemed to give him enough support and padding.
