Works well. However, the flange is very short.

Note that this particular outlet uses a "closed" flange for placement in hard-to-reach places. Not all oxygen sensor flange connections have this short flange. Most are slightly longer. So this outlet really gets into those hard-to-reach places. However, the problem with the short flange is that the flex pry bar head cannot slide into the flange at any angle because the flex pry bar head arms will snag on the bushing at some angles. Flange too close. Now if you plan to drive the flange with aโ€ฆ

Is it all that and a crunchy rice treat?

Ok here is my honest opinion, this is a tool and unbeatable for the price. The only problem I have is that there is no marking indicating the size. M12 ร— 1.25mm. Because most people look for it by reaching for tools. At least I have, the only other complaint unlike other larger hunters is that it doesn't have the option of using a bit driver. Worthy purchase. A very good quality.

I bought both types of O2 sensor plugs to ensure maximum adaptation to the situation. The removal/installation of the O2 sensors varies by vehicle and allows the use of both cranked and straight bushings. This ARES socket handled the required removal and installation very well. The front sensor came off very easily, while the rear/rear O2 sensor took some heat and more convincing. Luckily, my 2011 Subaru Forester sensors are fairly accessible, although I used an offset socket on the rearโ€ฆ

Great price for a very useful tool

This tool has value that's easy to overlook. O2 sensors can be difficult to deal with, especially on older vehicles where rust is a factor. Using this tool every time an O2 sensor is replaced (or removed and reused) is very effective in preventing issues like thread twisting, under-tightening, over-tightening, etc. Put some lube on the threads and you can use a ratchet or wrench Multiple angles and good ease of use. Sometimes using a wrench really saves time due to the limited space. The thread
