I ordered a 1" straightener but received a 1.5" straightener which I already have. On the label on the Box said 1" but the box itself said it was 1.5" and it looks the same as the 1.5" I already have so I'm sending it back. Although the goods arrived quickly.

I bought these in August and tried to use them last month but they don't work. I have contacted the seller several times and no response. This product came without a manual so I was able to contact the manufacturer to inquire about a replacement. I must have received a defective item and the seller didn't try to fix the situation! Waste of my hard earned money.

I recommend the straightener, I've had one before and it's great. However, they sent the WRONG iron. If you order 1 inch they will send you 1.5 inches which you can't curl with and it doesn't work well with shorter hair. Absolutely ridiculous, and several people have now mentioned it, so they're clearly doing it on purpose.

I bought the second one after finally throwing away the first one after FIVE YEARS. 5 years. I can't even get angry. Before getting this straightener, I had bought Chi every year for the past three years. It was like they had so much longer to live before they died a horrible death. This hair straightener is just as efficient, much cheaper and lasts much longer. This is a great purchase. I recommend it to everyone.

I bought this iron as a gift for my mother because she always uses mine. I got my 2012 from ULTA and it's still holding up, I have very thick curly/wavy hair. But this version, I don't know if it's too new or just a different batch made, but it doesn't clamp as tight as my old iron. Otherwise it's still a great product.
