I live at 7500 feet in the mountains. It's very dry here and my natural curls have changed since I moved here eight years ago. Fluffiness is the worst thing you can control and I've read so many reviews saying they can handle frizz including this one. NOT CORRECT! It's a little curly, but that didn't detract from the curls. Now all I have is crisp, coarse hair that I'm trying to tame. Return to the drawing board.

I was initially disappointed with this product until I found out how it works best for my hair. I have wavy hair but it's too long and too heavy for the cream to curl it. But after washing, combing in the air-conditioned shower, drying off and applying lotion, I braided my hair and let it dry overnight. It gave me the definition to my waves I was looking for without the crispiness of other products. I also like that the smell is unobtrusive.

I hope this review helps those of you with curly hair (the struggle is real)! The cream is light so if you have fine curly hair (I don't) it shouldn't weigh it down. A few years ago I bought a bottle of ARGAN MAGIC from TJMaxx. I started using it about 6 months ago and I love it. I ordered a new bottle here and when I received it the pump was not working. I have had issues with my hair for years and this battle started over a year ago when I first started using this product. Argan Magic not only gives me soft, flowing curls, but also detangles my hair perfectly. I apply it to damp hair, use a wide tooth comb to detangle my hair, then ruffle my hair with my hands as it dries 2 or 3 times. I'm having a hard time finding products that work for my curly hair without making it frizzy. I hate this. I love it because I can use it on damp hair with deodorant or on dry hair to strengthen my curls without feeling sticky.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is the shipping. The bottle was opened upon delivery and about 15% of the cream spilled all over the packaging. But overall the product itself works AMAZING! My hair is terribly frizzy - I apply it before (at the beach) and after - so you can see the magic of the product. I will definitely buy this product again but before I buy it from Revain I'll probably see if I can find it elsewhere to avoid damage in transit.
