Description of Argos PolarSafe R3116 Polypropylene 81 Place

Tight fitting lid ensures samples will not fall out; even when held upside down. Boxes withstand temperatures from -80°C to 121°C and will not degrade like cardboard boxes. Holds 0.5, 1.5, and 2.0mL microtubes as well as most brands of vials. Dual alphanumeric grid (inside and outside) for sample identification. Fits most standard 2" stainless steel freezer racks.

This product did not meet my expectations for durable lab storage. The plastic material felt flimsy and the 81 place design was inefficient for my needs. While it may be suitable for lighter usage it is not industrial and scientific grade..

Misleading product description

Even if the plastic packaging of the product is torn, the product itself is fine. My problem is with the description, it describes the quantity as a box of 200 pieces. Also, the list price of $425.50 for a box of 200 is reasonable. If I look closely and check the product number on another site I see that it matches a 5 pack. The retail price is also what other retailers charge for a 5-pack. If I had known I would have ordered elsewhere I could at least choose my own colors. I usually double…
