I like this tripod the most in tripods and monopods

I love this tripod. Great for stabilizing when I'm taking photos, or the legs wrap around things to hold onto in odd places (e.g. around a stair rail or street sign post) and adjust so you get a level shot on an uneven spot can do (if you wear it). on a stone wall or in the sand). Just like my friend's GorillaPod, but for a lot less money.

Good idea, bad execution

The tripod itself is flexible, light and well made, but 1) The mount is not strong enough, crappy and made of flimsy cheap plastic 4) The screw mechanism doesn't work well either I have a Nikon D3300, which is a fairly small and light DSLR that's barely stable on this tripod.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Damaged

Not for your 4lb gear

Might be good for a point and shot or very light entry level DSLR but I definitely wouldn't use it with my 5lb SLR entrust. The leg is thinner than I would expect and the ball joint appears to be made out of cheap lightweight plastic and feels like it will fall apart if you put too much weight on it. I tried my 5 pound camera on it and struggled to get it stable so it wouldn't slip. I sent it back and ordered a Joby SLR Zoom instead. The Joby appears to be twice as powerful as this one and the…

Best Desktop Tripod

Simply the best compact desktop tripod mount. It's a selling jewel and a tall tripod making it more ideal for video/live as it keeps my phone at the right height which is a must for any broadcaster. Features a quick release plate so you can leave it attached to the camera while packing. It also has a ball head mount with clip so you can easily install and lock the ball head. And a spirit level to ensure your mount is level. The price couldn't be better. We recommend purchasing a ball mount…

Good design, could be improved.

I used this flexible tripod for a whole month on a trip to Europe and it has held up great. The legs were flexible enough to wrap around most things a bit, but because the ball joints are plastic they made a very loud squeaking noise every time I had to adjust them. I also had to use "Loctite" threadlock because one of the legs would come loose if I adjusted it too many times. Other than that, the tripod is pretty durable, survived my month-long trip, and when I used it to record myself or take

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

. I downgraded a star for the lack of liquid in the level cap and I've noticed That it was has also been highlighted as an issue in several reviews, so this should be an ongoing quality issue for this organization. I would return it for this but it seemed like a hassle and it can be used without a level tool but you feel like you got less than expected. It will hold my Canon T3 with my 300mm lens if you manipulate your legs enough, which is good for this price range. I also bought a slightly…
