This worked great to adapt my Sony FDRX3000W to GoPro mounts. The screw is made of metal, which makes it more durable than plastic screws. Consider this adapter if you want to attach your camera to a GoPro accessory.

Terrible product. I wanted to use it to attach an action camera to various GoPro accessories. It is not possible to safely select a spin. You can screw it all the way in, but then the camera looks 90° in the wrong direction. I ended up running to Best Buy for a last minute purchase. In any case, try a different one.

When I screw on the Sony Action Cam it ends up on the side so I have to fiddle with moving the black part up and down and it doesn't feel secure . So far it has served its purpose, but I'm not sure if my camera won't fly off one day. I'm giving 4 stars because it's exactly what I expected for such a low price. There may be better options, but this one works.

Purchased to attach an iPhone mount to a GoPro selfie stick. Everything worked as I expected, except the connector was misaligned so the iPhone was centered on the selfie stick without tightening to the point of possible breakage. I think it will eventually break due to the pressure exerted to get the phone in the right position to take a selfie. However, this port reduces the amount of gear I need to take with me on my hikes. I hope it will work for a long time.

As the name suggests, this manufacturer has completely missed this product. Your adjustment nut is useless for locking the camera in any rotation preferred by the user, as it only has a notch of about 1/64 inch, meaning it doesn't go up the thread far enough to lock the camera in place. .at the rotation you chose.. This meant my camera was locked at 90 degrees and not aligned with the GoPro mount. Completely useless product. Unless you only want to shoot sideways. ;-)

Does exactly what I want --> allows me to use different GoPro mounts for cameras and devices! I wore my Nikon AW100 GoPro head mount with this adapter and it worked perfectly even though I looked like an idiot ha! The GoPro mount fits snugly but doesn't snag or snag so I really like it. This will make you feel an even stronger connection. I also ordered a cheap 1/4 20" phone mount so I can now mount my phone on the dash with the GoPro mount. I'll probably be buying more of these soon.

I used this to mount a Polaroid Cube in its underwater housing to a waterproof GoPro camera float. He did a great job and got the job done right. My only complaint is that on the second day of our dive (salt water) the bolt and washer showed signs of corrosion. I was able to remove it with vinegar.
