Arm Hammer 84116 Dumpster Deodorizer Review

Just received for my trash can which stays in the garage until it is put outside on collection day. And it stinks. So I emptied the trash can first. Then I sprinkled some of this deodorant on the bottom of the trash can. So far this has reduced the stench and made the jar smell really nice.

Bought for my garage (Florida) Buckets should stay in my garage and my goodness these buckets STINK! Really bad smell in my garage, even smells in my car! Tried this stuff, and what's the difference, the only thing you need is just a little, just sprinkle a little on the bottom of the jars and a very little on the bags when you throw the trash in! I highly recommend this product!💜💜

Sprinkle some trash before throwing it in the trash can and your trash cans will be smell free. I threw it in the bin at first and it didn't work, then realized I should have put it in bin bags before tying it up and throwing it in the bin. Really works. I have a spinning rod in my garage next to the trash cans and the smell used to bother me a lot. This product has completely solved this problem. I will definitely buy more!

As mentioned before, I wish they had come up with a better way to open and close. The top lid isn't great, but as long as you don't toss the box upside down, you're fine. Whether it does its job or not, it takes quite a long time, but masks the smell quite a bit. We have a separate bin that we use solely for bagged dog poo and I would rather use that than not.

It doesn't do anything other than mask the bad smell, so I'm essentially left with the original bad smell plus the strong detergent smell. Definitely not what I was looking for. I will only use this in my large outdoor bins. I think it will scare away the bears.

I have a regular kitchen trash can and it stinks but I don't have time to put my hand in it, get dirty, buy bleach to disinfect it and then wash it before I give him away to dry. But right now I just wish I could do this instead because I just wasted $18 and got a huge headache trying to use this. Doesn't mask or eliminate odors at all. There's no trash juice in my trash can but it's rubber plastic so I'm guessing it just absorbed the odors from the last trash bag I threw away…. And this stuff…
